AtWork Personnel Branch Profile - Debbie Moody

AtWork Personnel Branch Profile - Debbie Moody

Debbie Moody has been a part of the AtWork family for so long that she considers AtWork her second family, her career, and ultimately, her legacy. Moody opened her first office in Skowhegan, Maine, in 1997 near her hometown of Brooks, Maine. Since then, she’s opened more AtWork locations in Brewer, Turner, Gorham, and Sanford. Moody likes to say she attended the School of Hard Knocks and learned from first-hand experience, specifically in the manufacturing and sales industries, but she chose to move into the staffing industry with AtWork because of the longevity of the brand.

Her offices focus on blue collar industries, and she enjoys being able to work with both the clients and employees. If you ask Moody what she considers her greatest accomplishment as an AtWork owner, she would say, “Great reputation and excellent long-term staff members.” With a loyal staff on her side, she’s able to consistently and successfully find ways to make seemingly impossible situations successful for all involved.

She takes pride in her offices’ ability to effectively find the best matches in the fastest time without sacrificing quality. Her offices take advantage of technology, but Moody believes in keeping a personal touch. Ultimately, she says that all her current staff members have been in the job seekers’ shoes looking for work, so they know how it feels for people looking for jobs and believe in treating others as they would like to be treated.
